“ Located on the sunset side of Caye Caulker, Maggie’s Sunset Kitchen is a place to put on your list for dinner. Kayla and Baron were our hosts for our dinner. They are so friendly and always with big smiles to everyone. They took our orders of drinks and food quickly. 15 minutes and we were eating. The menu has plenty of choices, even for vegetarians. I had a kebab and you can choose two side dishes such as rice, coleslaw, baked potato and so on (see photo of menu). Most of the others had fish which they raved about. The cocktail menu is something to explore. I arrived at “happy hour” so had a Baileys Colada that is like a chocolate milkshake with a kick. Well worth a visit. Thank you to all the staff. ”

“ We were recommended to go here for dinner and a chance to spot crocodiles. We went there around 7pm after sunset, so it was already less crowded. We ordered drinks (the ice tea was very good!) and our food when the server let us know that a huge crocodile is right beneath us under the dock. They chased the crodile away, but we were able to take some pictures. Overall, good experience and Oh, the food was also very good! :) ”

“ Wonderful food— I had the whole lobster with rice & beans and plantains & it was all delicious! It was lovely sitting outside on the dock. Everyone was very friendly and not much of a wait for the food. Highly recommend for dinner! ”

“ What a freaking delicious place!!!! Wow! Amazing belizean chicken so yummy! A little off the main docking area and the Main Street but it’s just a short walk that’s soooooo worth it! Docked here during an excursion and asked our guide for a recommendation for best local food and he said Maggie’s. So happy we took his advise. You know it’s good when he even went there with other guides to have his own lunch! Great prices and they also have seating near the water across the street. We already had sat down before we noticed but you can definitely sit there! Bathrooms are clean too! ”

“ Best sunset-view-restaurant on the island with great food! It did get a bit buggy, but that's to be expected in Belize in August on a windless day after the sun has gone down sitting at a bar over relatively still water lol. Our waiter brought out mosquito repellant coils/incense for those of us eating out on the dock, which was not only appreciated but also added to the experience. Definitely grab some dinner here while you're visiting Caye Caulker! ”

“ AMAZING food A little slow and quite pricey Should give more plantains with the dish but the chips are INCREDIBLE as are the main dishes Guac a bit too much onion for my liking but still all very good Drinks also were large and VERY tasty! ”

“ Our first dinner in Caye Caulker & it was amazing!! Everyone working there was awesome, super friendly & a great service/ customer interactions. During happy hour they offer two for the price of one local drinks and food prices are excellent. We had a coconut fish fillet curry & a chicken curry with fried plantain, both with the coconut rice. We’ll definitely be back & if you’re in Caye Caulker they’re worth a visit for sure!! ”
